Paul Harris Fellowship Recognition

The Fellowship was established in 1957 in honor of Paul Harris who founded Rotary in 1905 and to express appreciation for a contribution US $1,000 to the humanitarian and educational programs of the Rotary International Foundation.  These programs include an array of projects that save and invigorate the lives of people around the world.  They enhance friendship and understanding.  Foundation programs provide:  peace and conflict prevention/resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and childcare health, basic education and literacy & economic and community development for millions.
 
Each new member is recognized with a pin and a commemorative certificate.  Contributors with more than $2,000 in cumulative giving are eligible for multiple Paul Harris Fellows (PHF+).  The pin has additional gems to signify these levels:
*   $1,000 Paul Harris Fellow
*   $2,000+ PHF plus 1 sapphire (Designated as PHF +1)
*   $3,000+ PHF plus 2 sapphires
*   $4,000+ PHF plus 3 sapphires
*   $5,000+ PHF plus 4 sapphires
*   $6,000+ PHF plus 5 sapphires
*   $7,000+ PHF plus 1 ruby
*   $8,000+ PHF plus 2 rubies
*   $9,000+ PHF plus 3 rubies (Designated PHF+8)
